Well done, James!
Our very own James has been accepted to study for a philosophy PhD at the University of Southampton.
He will be investigating what makes it the case that certain kinds of causal facts obtain. In particular, he will be look at the connections between causation, non-causal dependence relations like grounding, and metaphysical explanation. Ultimately, the aim is apply the findings to research in scientific contexts.
The project will take over half a decade!
